JNS_BPR WIN at Vegas !!!

The BackPocketRacing boys headed to Las Vegas with a field of 38 drivers to see how their luck would play out on the 11/2 mile race track. As they took the green flag, everyone was showing give and take knowing it would be a long race. The racing was good everywhere on the track. With a couple of cautions early on, the green flag was flying for the most part, until coming up on the halfway mark. Then cautions plagued the drivers for several laps until everyone got settled back down again. We had several single car spins in which also took out some other good cars. Once they got settled down the BPR boys were back at green flag racing again. Green flag pit stops once again went off with out any problems. Fierce racing took place coming to the end of the race. With a late caution coming out JNS is the one that had the luck of Vegas and would get the win over a hard charging Hotrod who ended up in 2nd spot, Razz would bring home the 3rd spot, followed by John LoPresto in the 4th spot, and finishing out the top 5 was Troy.
All in all guys it was a good race. Saw lots of good racing.. Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!! Thanks again to Boss for helping me with admining the race.... Good Job.. Thanks to all the drivers that showed up and made this a good race..

The BPR Nationwide series tackled Las Vegas Motor Speedway this past Saturday night for the running of the Wingnut 150. Towman would grab the Pole with a hotlap of 29.647, Teaspoon, J.Adair, Modfan and M.Drake would round out the top 5 starting positions.
The race went green for the first 30 laps when the 1st caution flew for a single car spin, as the case sometimes is, cautions breed cautions and so it was for the final 70 laps of this event. In the end Point leader C.Kutzner would grab the win to extend his early points lead, the 2 of J.Adair would come home 2nd. 3rd was the 24 of Towman. J.Blaze and M.Drake would round out the top 5 finishers. Good race Gentlemen. see ya next week @ Bristol.

JNS WINS CUP RACE AT CALIFORNIA !!!

BPR headed west to California for their second race of the season. 42 BPR drivers took the green. The race started off a little slow but sure ended in fashion, with green flag pit stops and finishing under green. The BPR drivers showed just how good they are, with some great 2, 3 and sometimes 4 wide racing on the big track. As these drivers get more and more used to racing with each other the racing just gets better and better. We have a lot of new drivers that are showing they are fast and intend on racing for the championship. As we roll to Vegas our first intermediate track the BPR drivers will get to test their skills on a little smaller track.. Patients, give and take will be a must... As we crossed the the finish line it was JNS taking the checkered after an intense battle with Cody Kutzner who brought home the second spot on the night. Finishing third was Razz who was also in a tight battle with forth place finisher John LoPresto and fifth place finisher Jay Adair. Great job guys!!!!!!!!!!

Kutzner Wins Cup Opener at Daytona !!!

42 BPR drivers showed up for the Daytona season opener. The excitement was in the air as the drivers rolled off for the start. After a few cautions everyone settled down and we had some real good racing. We saw two and three wide racing throughout the field. As we neared the finish cautions came back to haunt the drivers. Drivers did great in communication on TS for the most part. With as many new drivers to BPR and drivers still learning how each other races, I thought overall we had a good race. Not to mention the need for us to have to qualify to make the field makes BPR the league to be in if you want realism. Next week we are off to California big track lots of room and no plates.. Cody Kutzner takes the win with a big push from Towman to take him past 2nd place finisher Jay Adair who was hoping that that wouldn't happen, While Towman didn't have enough to get the second spot he was able to hold on to the 3rd spot,4th went to Dwayne Parker even though he was having some engine issues in getting up to speed. Rounding out the top 5 was Spinx who for the most part rode around in the back of the field until it was time to make his move... Good job to the top 5 finishers and to all the BPR drivers.

Daytona 1st Race Qualifying

The field is set... Both races went very well. I saw a lot of conservative racing and just a little over-aggressive which for the most part seemed to be the ones that caused the wrecks. I hope you guys that caused cautions will take a look at the replay and work on correcting your mistakes that brought them out. Remember gentlemen we are here to have fun and sitting in the garage isn't much fun.. I also again want to thank everyone for their TS etiquette. The first race was just awesome with the drivers sticking to race chatter only, and the watchers keeping quite for them. Second race drivers attempted to push the limit with outside chat and very possibly the watchers added to that as well . That will not be tolerated. I did see a driver in the second race that appeared to have brought out the caution intentionally. FYI if I see that again you will be parked immediately and may face a stronger penalty.. That is not good sportsmanship...
